We are a ministry dedicated to supporting women who are waiting for their vocation of fruitfulness to come alive.

Our mission is to offer words of wisdom, resources, intercessory prayer,  spiritual companionship, community, and coaching to women who are waiting for the gift of marriage and family, vocations to unfold, meaningful careers to manifest, and dreams of a fruitful life that God designed them to have to be fulfilled.

Meet Katie

Katie Zalany leads Women in Waiting | Made for Fruitfulness. She is a professional by day and a ministry leader by night. She has spent the last 20 years enduring long seasons of waiting for the fruitfulness God has in mind for her. She has hands-on experience spiritually, physically, and emotionally navigating waiting for marriage, family, career, vocation, and healing to unfold.

In the process of her waiting, she's created a successful and fulfilling career, published a book, attained certifications in spiritual direction and health and life coaching, and has ministered to many young women by helping them navigate relationships, family planning, finding purpose, discerning career direction, and growing in well-being. She has learned a great deal of wisdom on her journey that she is passionate about sharing with others.

• Professed Third Order Secular Franciscan (secular religious order in the Catholic tradition)

• Certified in Spiritual Direction through Villa Maria Spirituality Center

• Certified in Health Coaching and Life Coaching through the Health Coaching Institute

• Certified as a Wellness Program Manager through the National Wellness Institute

• Published spiritual author of Christian Faith Publishing

• Weekly writer and contributor for Catholic365

• Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Arts in Organizational Development

• 10 years in Talent Development and 7 years in Wellness professionally

• Over two decades of various ministry experience including leadership/board representation, youth and young adult ministry,  group facilitation, liturgical ministry, spiritual direction and companionship, and serving the poor/needy in various capacities
